Alpaca Tencel Nylon Lace Weight Yarn

Naturally dyed Alpaca Tencel Nylon Lace Yarn

This special yarn is soft, light, and shiny.  It is made of 35% Alpaca, 55% Tencel and 10% Nylon.  It has 840 yards in a 115 gram skein.  

The yarn is milled in Canada and hand dyed in Ontario with natural dyes.  It is next-to-skin soft and is great for knitting, weaving and crochet.  

The dyes are all derived from nature, and come from plants or insects.  Where possible, we source local Ontario materials.  When these are not available, we look to Canadian distributors.

Some colour variations between skeins may occur. We recommend alternating skeins if more than one is used in a project.  Although we try to represent the colours as accurately as possible, the picture on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product. 

Products made from this yarn should be hand washed in cool water with wool wash and laid flat to dry.  

This yarn is suited to wraps, shawls, light-weight sweaters, and other delicate items.
