Organic Worsted Weight Wool

Naturally dyed organic merino wool

This is 100% certified organic merino wool, hand dyed with natural dyes.  It has 210 yards/192 metres in a 115 g skein.  This is not superwash yarn.  The yarn is next-to-skin soft and is great for knitting, weaving and crochet. 

The organic yarn is milled in Canada. It is then dyed in our home studio using natural dyes and environmentally-sensitive processes. 

The dyes are all derived from nature, and come from plants or insects.  Where possible, we source local Ontario materials.  When these are not available, we look to Canadian distributors.

Some colour variations between skeins may occur. We recommend alternating skeins if more than one is used in a project.  Although we try to represent the colours as accurately as possible, the picture on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product. 

Products made from this naturally-dyed organic wool yarn should be hand washed in cool water with wool wash and laid flat to dry.  

This medium-weight yarn is suited to hats, mitts, scarves, sweaters, cardigans, and more.
